sunday school

It's hard to be a Christian without community. We need other believers in our lives to challenge our understanding of the Bible, to help us explore our faith, and to share the highs and lows of life together. No matter your age or stage of life, there's a "Sunday School" group for you. You don't need prior exposure or understanding of the Bible to join us. We're all in this together!

These classes meet all over the building, beginning around 9:00 a.m. If you're interested in joining us, let us know, so we can make sure you experience a group that works for you.

  • Nursery

During Sunday School, babies, toddlers and preschoolers under the age of 4 are cared for in our beautiful nursery. Our nursery is always staffed with at least 2 caregivers over the age of 18 who have completed Ministry Safe training and have passed a background check. These paid staff people are excited to spend quality time with your precious babies and can often be seen cuddling in a rocker or playing on the floor.

  • The journey class

The Journey Class is made up of mostly couples and a few singles in their late 50s to early 70s. They participate in selected topics and materials using book studies, Bible studies and occasionally DVD series. The group enjoys studying, fellowshipping and serving together. Guests are welcome at any time.

  • the anniversary class

The Anniversary class is made up of senior adults, including both singles and couples. They are always welcoming of new guests. Their time together includes hymn singing and a lesson from the Quarterly Bible Study series by David C. Cook. Their mission is to minister to those in sorrow or distress.

  • the 50/50 class

The 50/50 Class is a group of active over-60s men, women and couples who are always looking for and welcoming new members. We use the Quarterly Bible Study series by David C. Cook. Our current four teachers rotate Sundays. We have at least two parties each year, and we adopt a family at Christmas.

  • The pathfinder's class

This group is mostly late 40s and above empty nesters and senior adults who love a vibrant Bible-based discussion. They use "The Wired Word" for their lesson, which explores current events from a Biblical perspective. All perspectives and backgrounds are welcome.

  • ole faithful class

This group are adults with adult children taking a deep dive into the Bible for guidance on living a Godly life.
