Adults at Floral Heights UMC care for the community and their church, connect with God and each other, and create meaningful shared life experiences through their Sunday School classes, which is the hub of all relationship building at our church.
Bible Studies
Bible studies at Floral Heights UMC take place throughout the week. If you're interested in learning more about any of these study groups, we encourage you to fill out our contact form. We will follow up to answer any questions you have.
Men's Bible Study: This group meets on Thursday mornings at 6:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall and is taught by Pastor Brian and Gary. They read and study the Bible together while enjoying coffee and donuts.
Women's Bible Study: This group of ladies meets on Thursday mornings at 9:30 a.m. The first part of the time is spent sharing in our joys and concerns and praying for one another. Then, they use the Wired Word for their curriculum, which uses stories about current events to facilitate a conversation about the Bible.
Wednesday Morning Bible Study: This is a group of both men and women who are mostly senior adults. They meet at 9:00 a.m. in the 1st Floor Bible Study room and are taught by Pastor Brian and Gary. They read and study the Bible together.
Senior adult ministry
The senior adults here are especially engaged in activities they coordinate for the church family, ranging from museum trips to day outings to the Wichita Mountains and testing out new restaurants. They also coordinate guest speakers and musicians to perform at our church.
These activities are coordinated through our Senior Adult Council, which meets on the second Monday of the month at noon.
